    Hello,

Not happy with my current script so I thought I'd give this one a try...

    having trouble with the draupnir_out.php

It's returning a blank page and also cron doesn't appear to be working

    Here is my cron command:

    /usr/bin/wget -q -O /dev/null http://allteentubes.com/draupnir_updates.php?key=<secret key>

Here is message in error log:

    Failed opening required 'draupnir_data/files/draupnir_minute_in.php/cron/update.php

You can view the site at http://allteentubes.com and the "fake" archive links accross the top are links from Draupnir

    Thanks,
    Ric

This is a little strange, I'm not sure what might be causing what you are seeing but I'll try to help you with it.

Have you added any trades to the script yet? If there are no trades in the system, it might just show a blank page, although it should generate an error message instead. When I click on http://allteentubes.com/draupnir_out.php?trade=random that just takes me back to your main page.

If you're having trouble with cron, you can also try using the "lynx -dump" command which is listed at the bottom of your site config page. Do you see any error messages listed at the bottom of the site config page?

I have trades added but the trade=random didn't work at all

I assumed that a cron job was generating a random list to use? I was just guessing tho

I changed the wget command to the lynx command and removed the directing it to /dev/null

Will see what it emails me

    Added:

The output of the cron command is blank and the trade=random still doesn't work... what's the best way to check if cronjobs are running as they should?

The simplest way to make sure that the cronjob is functioning correctly is to make sure that your toplists are being updated when they are scheduled to do so.

I am baffled by the behavior of your script with trade=random; if that function fails for some reason, it should just display the draupnir_out.php page as either a blank page or display an error message.
