I am receiving this error

"draupnir_history.php file is missing, history logs do not exist
History logs might not be generated until up to 24 hours after script installation. If this script has been recently installed or upgraded, please check later".

The site has been using Draupnir for over a month. The site is only receiving 300 hits a day and a little less than 100 gallery clicks a day if this bit of info matters.

Amflix

I have the script installed and everything seems to be working fine except two things..

The inbound hits are being recorded with the proper referrer, but all gallery hits are being recorded nocookie. I have tested this with multiple browsers, pcs and ips with cookies turned on.

The second problem is I cannot seem to get a gallery skim, which is likely because my hit gallery clicks are all "nocookie".

Details as follows...

Site URL: http://www.enticingbabes.com/

Rotator: Smart Scripts

in.cgi: <?php include "draupnir_in.php"; ?>

Out setting in Smart Thumbs: /draupnir_out.php?pct=65&f=1&url=#url#

The site is installed in the root as is Druapnir. ST in installed in the /st directory.

Any suggestions. As I mentioned, I have tried surfing the site in IE8, FF, Opera, Chrome, and Safari. Same results each time. It counts the inbound hit correctly, identifies the visit as "nocookie" and sends all clicks to the gallery.

I have problem with function of the scripts. The stats on the main site(draupnir_admin.php) aren´t working. I also cannot add a new trade, better say, I can add it, but the script do not send it any hits and is not visible in stats.
I tried to set both permissions 777 and 755 to draupnir_data/files/ directory, but it is still the same. Toplist is updated regulary.
Will it help to overinstall that?

The new algorithm option was off to a somewhat rough start, but this update should fix all problems relating to it that I am aware of.

The previous version of the software had a bug relating to the outlist order when "Limit Best Returns By Volume" was enabled. I do not recommend using the December 18, or December 21, 2009 versions of this software at all if you are using "Limit Best Returns By Volume". Those versions will not function correctly.

No other changes were made to this version.

Hello AmateurFlix,

I read on the download page that the free license is not being updated but that we can update using the files from the free version of Draupnir. In this case, does the script still works like the free license of Draupnir or does it work like the free version and skim on outgoing clicks? I have a free license of Draupnir and am not sure what to do.

Feel free to post suggestions here. They will be considered and some may be implemented.

One beta tester suggested adding a 'mixed' category to both the 'Site Format' and 'Niche' drop-down menus.

Although adding extra fields to the menus would be very easy, getting the rest of the software - especially the auto-join functions - to work with the new settings would not be so easy, and there are other concerns as well.

I would recommend using 'general' in place of 'mixed' in the Niche menu.

I created the Niche menu to be somewhat vague, because if too many options are presented and people set their sites to accept auto-joins only from matching niches, then the pool of available trades for any one niche will be much smaller than it would with the existing method. So for this reason, I think it makes more sense to lump things like general and mixed together, and also keep some other niches relatively vague instead of adding many more specific niches at this time.

Likewise, if your site is hybrid of text and thumbs, or of TGP and MGP galleries, then it probably makes sense to select whichever type of site you most prefer to trade with.

Hey guys,
I messed up with that last update. If you're running the December 18, 2009 build you'll want to update to the December 21, 2009 build. Fortunately, I don't think very many of you downloaded that, as it was released on the last weekend before the Christmas holiday.

This December 21, 2009 build fixes the following bugs:

Signup page errors have been fixed. The previous version was not allowing webmaster page trade signups to be saved correctly.

Several small bugs relating to the new "Limit Best Returns By Volume" algorithm have been fixed:

When using this feature, setting a force will now work as expected.

When using this feature, the webmaster page will show the correct quantity of clicks, if that option is enabled.

The permissible range has been expanded to 3-150 trades.

My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

This update includes a number of feature improvements and an optional algorithm setting which can significantly alter the way Draupnir returns traffic. Big thanks to Toby and w33t for their suggestions which I have incorporated into this update.

The stats interface may now be sorted according to Qual, or by any of the 24 hour stats columns, by clicking on their name in the column header.

History logs are now available for both the Trade Totals and Site Totals; be aware that these totals contain only data for current trades, so if you delete a trade its stats will not be included in historical data.

You may now specify &f=admin in the draupnir_out.php url, in order to control the First Clicks setting from within the admin.

There is an option in the admin to override &f= and &pct= settings, so you don't need to specify &pct=admin in order to control it from the admin.

Some new algorithm settings are available that might be of particular interest to those of you with sites receiving lots of feeder traffic, lots of search engine traffic, or with lots of bookmarkers. This is a very powerful algorithm which can have a very drastic effect, so make sure you understand it well before you use it. More info can be found at http://www.draupnirsoft.com/help/featuresguide.php under "Limit Best Returns By Volume"

An optional &tag=anytext may be included in the draupnir_out.php url in order to record tag data from clicks, and a tag clicks statistics screen is available in the admin. You may use any of the following characters in the &tag= feature: 0-9A-Za-z-.%_()

A page linked under the 'network' menu on Master installs will report the build dates for every Draupnir install in your network. This can be helpful for those of you with large networks to keep track of which sites might need updating.

Any clue how to make Draupnir work with Nubile tube script. It's a LOT like the wordpress script best I can tell. It's REAL AT friendly but I'm a draupnir fan and will drop their script before I'll use a different trade script than draupnir. God this is starting to sound like a Dear Abbey letter. Please help me with this is there's a way.
Thanks,
George

Is it possible to create a mod_rewrite to have it so linking to a directory that's pointing to the draupnir_out file or will I run into troubles? I'd be installing it on a large amount of sites if it's possible.

Thanks

Has feature been forgotten about? Its a main reason for me trying out this script. Getting it to auto add and remove trades as needed would be great.
I will add my site, but its only one and not a network. I guess I will have to add a tradig toplist on some of my non-skimming sites.

I ran across an oddity today while hunting down the reason why incoming hits from a particular trade weren't tracking. What I discovered is that I'd entered the site domain in draupnir as http://www.sitedomain.com/ and the traffic was being sent from http://sitedomain.com.

I'd just assumed that draupnir would track either, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Perhaps that's something that should be included in the next update.

I got "wget path was not confirmed
Check with your hosting provider to make sure this is the correct path to wget: /usr/bin/wget" . But my host do installed that.

And I cant add slave sites to master site.It called "Unable to connect to the master site. This may be due to an improperly configured master URL or a temporary network problem."

Any idea?

I'm sure you've been following the "panic" with Google penalizing a large number of ST sites. The best theory that I've seen to date on the reason has to do with spammers using the /st/st.php to redirect their links.

My suggestion is adding some form of security to the script so that draupnir_out.php will only accept incoming from approved domains. Although this creates a problem for dealing with no_ref traffic.

Just sort of brainstorming, and looking to be preventative before Google drops the hammer again on some other scripts.
